\n"China-The Land of Reason" is an unpublished monograph written by Mr. Liang Shuming during the "Cultural Revolution" (1967-1970). At the beginning of the article, he clearly stated that this manuscript is "not suitable for publication." In a letter to his friends, he said: "(This article) answers important questions. The questions come from Marxism-Leninism, and the answers are still inseparable from Marxism-Leninism. , I can\u2019t help but be shocked. It will take ten or twenty years before it will be published, and I will hardly see it.\u201d What he cares about is still China's past and present, and even the future of all mankind.

\nThis long article of 170,000 characters and 28 chapters was published for the first time in "The Complete Works of Liang Shuming" after Mr. Liang's death, for future readers to study.
