He is rigorous in his studies and has read the Twenty-Four Histories many times, but he is not satisfied with the textual research of Qianjia and Jia, but is committed to mastering them. He advocated that learning should be combined with reality, and opposed learning for the sake of learning, but he stayed away from politics and remained indifferent all his life. He once stated: &quot;I have set up my own life and always follow the ancient sages and bureaucrats as a model&quot;, but he also said that he &quot;deeply admires&quot; Marxism-Leninism. However, as we all know, Mr. Lu is undoubtedly a scholar who is recognized as diligent, honest and well-known. Therefore, these seemingly tortuous thinking and attitudes above actually not only reflect a specific context of the times, but also demonstrate a transcendent life model.<br \/>\n\u200b<br \/>\nThe full name of &quot;Baihua Homeland History&quot; is &quot;Self-study and Applicable Vernacular History of the Country&quot;, which is Mr. Lu Simian&#039;s first general history work. The writing preface was drafted in December 1920, compiled in 1922, and published in the first edition by Shanghai Commercial Press in September 1923. As the title of the book &quot;Applicable to Self-study&quot; shows, Mr. Lu once wrote in the preface of this book: &quot;Naturally, reading does not focus on memorizing facts, but on acquiring a method. In this book, I get rid of textual research and arguments based on my humble opinion.
