Back then, my husband returned to Kunming after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War and discovered that there was a mooncake shop in Kunming that was famous for its special ham mooncakes. Not only the locals would queue up in long lines, but also customers from far away would come to buy them. However, this mooncake shop has a special rule, that is, during the month before and after the Mid-Autumn Festival every year, the mooncake shop will close its doors and stop selling, instead of taking advantage of the festival to sell the mooncakes. The boss said this was to allow other local cake shops to benefit from the same business. While they were closed, their mooncakes were sold all over Beijing and Shanghai, and their income continued to grow while their reputation grew.
