\nThe guqin, or zither, embodies the ideals and aesthetics of scholars for thousands of years. The elegance of its sound can calm the mind and cultivate character, and also allow for dialogue with history. The "Guqin Learning Project" at Qian Mu's Former Residence has been running for thirteen years. This project provides free guqin lessons to students, hoping to pass on the profound elegance of traditional culture to contemporary young students.

\nOur courses are taught personally by the senior guqin master, Mr. Chen Changjing. Mr. Chen possesses superb skills and rich teaching experience, adept at explaining complex techniques and music theory clearly and understandably. He guides students to steadily grasp the essentials of playing and the cultural connotations of the guqin. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned student wishing to continue improving, you can find a pace that suits you in our classes.

\nIn the company of teachers and friends, and amidst the resonance of strings, students will experience the essence of traditional music and showcase their learning at the final gathering, reliving the charm of ancient literati music gatherings. The course is divided into sections according to students' levels: new students will begin with classic pieces such as "Xianweng Cao," "Xiangjiang Yuan," and "Qiufeng Ci"; returning students will receive a customized plan based on their individual progress.

\nOnly two spots remain for this session. We sincerely invite students from all levels of school to register and participate, to cultivate their character outside of their studies, and to let the melodious sounds of the guqin accompany them on their school days!

\n2. \ud83d\udccd Location: Room 511, Qinpu Building, Taipei Municipal University (Boai Campus)
\n3. \ud83d\udc65 Target: Students in national high schools, colleges and universities, and graduate schools (including exchange students)
\n4. \ud83d\udd14 Cost:
\n\u25c6 This project is fully sponsored by the Sushulou Education Foundation, which provides free courses for the first two sessions for new students.
\n\u25c6 New students: deposit of 3,000 yuan (refundable at the end of the course)
\n\u25c6 Former students: Tuition fee is 3,000 yuan (from the third period onwards)
\n\u25c6 Guqin Rental (Optional): Deposit of 3000 yuan, rental fee of 3000 yuan (please pay directly to the teacher or music store. The deposit will be refunded when the guqin is returned, but the rental fee is non-refundable).

\nTo allow more students to experience the art of the guqin, the funding for this program is primarily for new students. Returning students are also welcome to participate. Starting from the third cohort, students can contact their instructors directly to continue their studies. The Qian Mu Residence will not charge or handle any related fees.
