This year, "Meeting the Bazhilan Cultural Ecosystem" in Qian Mu's former residence once again invites everyone to step outside together, read the local literature and history of Shilin, and feel the common memory of local life! Remember teaching outdoors as a kid? Just like that, bring a water bottle, your favorite snacks, and hook up with your dear friends to listen to the short stories of Bazhilan and enjoy the joy of hiking!
Jiantan is now both a busy transportation hub and a famous landmark in Taipei. Yuanshan on the other side of the river was once the core area of Taipei and contains rich historical treasures. They have not only witnessed the prosperity and changes of the city, but also preserved many stories hidden by urban dust. This time, we will walk together at the foot of Jiantan Mountain and weave the endless memories of the past! Our journey will recall the cheers of the "Zhongshan Football Stadium" and explore the shadows left by the US military next to the "Environmental Protection Hall" and "Art Museum". Walk on the "Imperial Envoy Road" and feel the historical context of Zhongshan North Road. In the "Jiantan Temple", the legend of Zheng Chenggong and the Martyrs' Shrine complement each other; the unparalleled "Maruyama Hotel" and the "Maruyama Shrine" hidden in the mountains and forests contrast the rise and fall of the times. The "Children's Paradise" carries many people's childhood dreams of happiness; the Hakka architectural complex and the former zoo tell the story of the city's past and present. Every brick and every tile has a whisper of time worth listening to.
For this event, we are once again fortunate to invite teacher Kang Hongyu, who has been deeply involved in Taiwanese local culture and history for many years, to lead us between Jiantan and Yuanshan, making every corner full of surprises. Qian Mu's Former Residence invites everyone to take a stroll through the memory of the city, listen to the colorful stories of this land, and rediscover the beauty and charm of "Bazhilan"!

2. This event provides free travel insurance, friends who need it are welcome to add it to the registration form!
