Just like that, bring a water bottle, your favorite snacks, and hook up with your dear friends to listen to the short stories of Bazhilan and enjoy the joy of hiking!
Shilin, known as "Bazhilan" in ancient times, is a fertile land that was first cultivated by the aborigines and Dutai ancestors. Over its long history, this land has accumulated a rich cultural heritage and has become an internationally renowned tourist business district; but on the other hand, it has also retained many traces of history. The simple names of "Front Street" and "Back Street" actually look like a small maze made of red bricks. If you look up occasionally, you will find that the iron windows of each house are unique in their own way; the tiles next to them are full of retro beauty. The paper factory, elementary school, and Fude Palace—these old landmarks still have a quiet but dynamic sense of "everyday life" to this day, and are full of the atmosphere of local life.
For this event, Qian Mu’s Former Residence is honored to once again invite Mr. Kang Hongyu, who has been deeply involved in Taiwan’s local culture, local literary history, and popular history for many years, to walk along Zhilan Street with everyone, continue the historical context that descends from Zhishan Rock, and experience Shilin.
