This year, "Meeting the Bazhilan Cultural Ecosystem" in Qian Mu's former residence once again invites everyone to step outside together, read the local literature and history of Shilin, and feel the common memory of local life! Remember teaching outdoors as a kid? Just like that, bring a water bottle, your favorite snacks, and hook up with your dear friends to listen to the short stories of Bazhilan and enjoy the joy of hiking!
"Temples" have always been the local centers where the Han Chinese live together in Taiwan, and they are also the crystallization of traditional culture, beliefs, aesthetics, and craftsmanship. In Bazhilan, the "Shennong Palace" in Shilin Old Street and the "Cijian Palace" in Xinjie are the "living history" of the local area. They and the "Huiji Palace" in Zhishanyan are also called Shilin Three ancient temples.
This year, Qian Mu's Former Residence is honored to invite Mr. Jian Youqing, the person in charge of the Shilin Zhuang Literature and History Studio and the director of Shilin Shennong Palace, to lead everyone to "walk around Temple Street"! Accompanied by Teacher Jian, we will start from the old neighborhood, walk through the bluestone fields surrounded by cigarettes, and get to know the historical traces and cultural heritage of Shilin again.
