Tai Shigong himself said that these two gentlemen have been recorded in detail in various other books, so he "ignored them and discussed their anecdotes."
Mr. Qian Mu pointed out that this is because the most important thing about Chinese history is that it attaches more importance to "people" than "things." The teacher said: "The biographies of Guan Yan are all about the major events of Qi State, and only three sections of the anecdotes of Guan Yan and the two men are recounted, not to describe his events in detail, but to get to know the person.
