"Plan a strategy to win a thousand miles." This familiar compliment describes exactly the protagonist of this historical biography and life series: Zhang Liang.
In our traditional culture, when talking about scheming and resourceful characters, apart from Zhuge Liang, Zhang Liang has to be mentioned. Zhang Liang, also named Zifang, his life is full of legend. From a young man plotting to assassinate the Qin Emperor, to being taught Huangshi's art of war; his strategies not only defeated the overlord of Western Chu, but also established the foundation of the Han Dynasty. Various deeds demonstrate his extraordinary intelligence and magnanimity. Among these legendary stories, the one that is most celebrated is the mysterious ending in which he traveled with the Chisongzi Fairy in his later years and ended up unknown.
Being able to escape unscathed after becoming famous is a rare example in history. The Neo-Confucian scholar Shao Yong once wrote a poem praising Zhang Liang, "How good it can begin and end", praising his wisdom in advancing and retreating from the beginning. The Confucian scholar Li Dong once said: "Kong Ming is not as calm as Zifang, and Zifang is not as upright as Wuhou." Despite this, Liuhou's "calmness" not only makes many people yearn for him, but also can be a source of inspiration for today's people. It brings valuable inspiration to modern people who are constantly busy and pursuing.
