To his allies, he is a strategist who can "win by surprise"; to his enemies, he is a "scheming" villain. This is the protagonist of our history and life series: Chen Ping.
Chen Ping is a charismatic and controversial figure. With a humble background, he relied on his extraordinary wisdom and flexible skills to get through the troubled times of conflict between Chu and Han, and eventually became one of the founding fathers of the Han Dynasty. He first served as Wei Jiu's servant, then switched to Xiang Yu's command, and finally joined Liu Bang, which showed his extraordinary insight and adaptability. And his brilliant "counter-intentional plan", which will go down in history, made the overlord Xiang Yu rebel against his relatives and laid the foundation for the Han army's decisive victory.
However, Chen Ping's talents were not limited to military strategy. After the establishment of the Han Dynasty, he resolved many crises in the court, such as skillfully handling the Fan Kuai incident and dealing with Empress Lu's dictatorship, etc., all of which demonstrated his superb political wisdom. Chen Ping's characteristic is that he can always find the best balance point in complex situations, safeguarding national interests and himself at the same time. Interestingly, Chen Ping once said before his death: "I have done many conspiracies and tricks in my life, the most harmful to Tianhe." This sentence may reflect his reflection on his life's actions, and also leaves room for future generations to ponder.
