In his later years, Bin Si often talked about the declining understanding of Chinese culture among young people today, which is very worrying. He believed that this was related to the difficulty in reading, so he deliberately classified and selected his own works to make it easier for young people to read.
He said: "Putting several related books together and reading them consecutively can give you a deep impression." ...The first books he planned to publish were four volumes of "Collection of Essays on Confucianism" and a set of "Collection of Essays on the History of Chinese Academic Thought". Regarding the historical part, he wrote a bibliography. As for the cultural and academic aspects, they are also often discussed.
Therefore, in accordance with Bin Si's wishes before his death, I have the foundation publish the "Small Essays" so that young people can understand Chinese traditional culture through the "Small Essays".
