Mr. Liang Shuming (1893-1988) is an extremely original thinker, educator, and social activist in modern China. He devoted his whole life to seeking solutions to modern Chinese problems from traditional Chinese culture, and he often devotes himself wholeheartedly to thinking about problems, resulting in insomnia. As he claims to be, he is indeed: "a man who has thoughts and acts in accordance with his thoughts."
In the 21st year of the Republic of China (1932), Mr. Liang Shuming published a collection of essays "The Final Awakening of the Chinese National Self-Saving Movement", which systematically expounded his philosophy of establishing the country with agriculture, and explicitly rejected the path of modern European democracy and the path invented by the Russian Communist Party. As he asked: "I have seen the national self-rescue movement with my own eyes, and I have changed countless ways before and after, I have sold an unknown amount of energy, and I have sacrificed an unknown number of lives. , Everyone was anxious and didn't know what to do. How on earth did we get to this stage? To this day, I can't help but turn my head and ask deeply." Looking back on history today and looking forward to the present, we really have to have this question in our minds. And what is Mr. Liang's so-called "final awakening"? What can it teach us?
