This course is a special collaboration with the Taipei Senior Citizens Learning Demonstration Center. To ensure every participant has access to comprehensive learning resources, please apply for a Senior Citizens Card before the course. The application process is quite simple: 1. You must be 55 years of age or older; 2. Bring your ID card and a passport photo; 3. Go to the Information and Service Counter on the 3rd floor of the Taipei City Library Main Branch to apply for your card free of charge. With this Senior Citizens Card, you can not only participate in this course but also enjoy free access to the Taipei Senior Citizens Learning Demonstration Center, a reading, leisure, and learning space designed specifically for senior citizens. This time, we will break the traditional learning framework! The "Qian Mu's Former Residence Senior Citizens' Classroom" once again invites the popular teacher Yang Yanyun to lead us directly into the most prestigious art museums in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and the Czech Republic. We will not only look at paintings, but also find the voice of the times and the stories of people in the masterpieces, and transform those seemingly distant art histories into understanding and emotion that everyone can take home.
Join us on a virtual journey across Central Europe this June, taking four Wednesday afternoons to explore the dazzling constellation of art in an accessible way. From now on, art museums will no longer be unattainable halls, but rather havens of knowledge where you can stroll leisurely and savor every detail.

Through the most representative art museums and masterpieces of Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and the Czech Republic, we will take an accessible approach, using the steps of "seeing, feeling, and then understanding" to first connect with the works through our senses, and then return to their history and context.

Each month, we offer courses on a different theme, including international news, travel and lifestyle, history and culture, art and painting, aerobics, and health knowledge. We invite university faculty and professional lecturers to teach, offering a rich and diverse curriculum. Four classes per month, one per week, are stress-free and free.
