Among the famous "Four Princes of the Warring States Period", Lord Mengchang is probably the most known to people today; however, what Tai Shigong really admires is Lord Xinling, who is the protagonist of this "Biography of Prince Wei". Past theorists have pointed out: Tai Shigong called Mengchang, Pingyuan, Chunshenjun and others by their fiefdoms and fiefs, but he only respected Xinling Lord as "gongzi". Based on this, one can imagine Tai Shigong's admiration for Lord Xinling.

Lord Xinling is a descendant of the surname Ji, Wei, named Wuji, history says that he is wise and loyal, generous and loving, respects the virtuous and respects scholars, and he has one advantage that the other three princes can't match, that is, his Raising scholars is not for personal gain, but based on benevolence and righteousness, and has the heart to provide disaster relief and compassion for others. His outstanding political skills and military talents allowed him to win many battles on the battlefield, making enemy countries dare not invade for years. In the battle of "Stealing Talisman to Save Zhao", Lord Xinling's wisdom and courage were more vividly displayed at a critical moment. This military and political game shows the wise men's thinking and choices about the profound contradiction between strategy and morality.

However, Lord Xinling's story does not have a happy ending. Born in the Warring States Period, his life carried heavy themes of reality, ideals and human nature. He has faced countless difficult choices, and the light of his wisdom once seemed extremely dazzling, but in the end it inevitably gradually dimmed in the turmoil of troubled times. Its tragedy reminds us that in political struggles, wise men may also become prisoners of fate. In September 112, we invite everyone to read "Biography of Prince Wei" together with Mr. Jiang Yitai, and analyze why Tai Shigong respects Lord Xinling so much, and what enlightenment the political demeanor of Lord Xinling can bring to us today ?
